📄 RR Flow Software License Agreement

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, entered into by, on one side, as LICENSOR:

Rudimar Remontti, developer of the RR Flow system, hereinafter referred to as LICENSOR, and on the other side, the individual or legal entity identified at the time of license purchase, hereinafter referred to as LICENSEE, have agreed as follows:

1. Object

This contract concerns the non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the RR Flow system, a network traffic analysis tool, provided via software and/or API, upon payment.

2. Automatic Acceptance

By making the license payment, the LICENSEE declares to be aware of and in full agreement with all the terms of this contract, waiving any additional physical or digital signature.

This contract is considered accepted at the time the payment is processed, becoming binding from that moment.

3. License

3.1 The license granted is:

  • Non-exclusive;
  • Non-transferable;
  • Limited to internal use by the LICENSEE.

3.2 It is prohibited to:

  • Assign, sublicense, resell or redistribute the software;
  • Use the system with white label or hide its original identity;
  • Alter, disassemble, or reverse engineer the code, especially the HTML interface, images, and logos.

4. Intellectual Property

All code, design, brand, database, and documentation are the exclusive property of the LICENSOR, protected by Laws No. 9.609/98 and No. 9.610/98:

  • Law No. 9.609/98 protects the computer program (software), including the source code, scripts, database, and system functionalities.
  • Law No. 9.610/98 guarantees copyright over the visual identity, documentation, reports, brand, and any other intellectual content.

Any reproduction, redistribution, reverse engineering, removal of credits, or unauthorized use of any part of the system, whether in whole or in part, is prohibited.

The use of the API for integration with external tools (e.g., Grafana, scripts, etc.) is allowed, as long as the identification of the RR Flow system as the data source is maintained.

RR Flow integrates open source tools such as nfdump (under BSD-2-Clause license) and Grafana OSS (under AGPLv3 license) for data visualization and analysis.
All credits, terms, and licenses of these tools are respected according to their original licenses.
Grafana OSS is used only as a display interface and is not redistributed as part of the RR Flow software.

5. Support and Updates

The LICENSOR may, at its discretion, provide updates, fixes, and support according to the plan contracted by the LICENSEE. This does not imply an obligation of continuous product development.

6. Partnerships and Commercial Distribution

Any form of commercial partnership, resale, integration with other products for third parties, or distribution of RR Flow must obligatorily follow the official partnership policy:

It is expressly prohibited to:

  • Distribute RR Flow under another brand (white label);
  • Offer the system as part of another commercial product without formal authorization;
  • Use the API to compose commercial solutions without the proper partnership agreement.

7. Penalties for Violation

Failure to comply with any clause of this contract, especially regarding unauthorized reproduction, improper distribution, use of the brand without permission, or unauthorized modification of the RR Flow system, will subject the violator to the penalties provided for in Laws No. 9.609/98 and No. 9.610/98, including, but not limited to:

  • Immediate revocation of the license to use;
  • Compensation for losses and damages;
  • Applicable civil and criminal legal actions.

8. Termination

The contract may be terminated immediately in case of violation of any clause, especially regarding improper use of the brand, white label, or redistribution of the system.

9. Jurisdiction

To resolve any doubts arising from this contract, the parties elect the jurisdiction of Frederico Westphalen/RS, waiving any other, however privileged it may be.
